School Loop answers only from the sources your school loads and approves: the calendar, newsletters, staff and class lists, policies, sports draws, the canteen menu. No open internet. No general knowledge. Ask it the capital of France and it politely declines — try it in the demo above.

Why it matters: it cannot say anything your school did not publish.

No personal data harvested

Parents sign in through the school’s existing parent login, so School Loop never collects identities of its own. Conversations are never used to train any AI model. No profiles are built, nothing is sold, and each school runs in its own isolated tenancy. The data stays the school’s property, full stop.

Why it matters: there is nothing to leak, because nothing is kept.

🎯 No guessing

As accurate as your data

It cannot invent an answer. Every reply is drawn from your dataset and carries its source, so if the calendar is right, the answer is right. When something is not in the data, it says exactly that, offers the office, and logs the gap so the data gets fixed — it never fills the silence with a guess.

Why it matters: wrong answers are how schools lose parent trust. This cannot produce one your data did not.

How the guardrails actually work

This is not a chatbot with a filter bolted on. The boundary is architectural: the model can only retrieve from your school’s approved sources, every answer is grounded in a retrieved document before it is written, and anything that finds no source is refused by rule, not by judgement. Access model. School Loop is for parents and carers only at this stage, authenticated through the school’s existing parent portal. Student access for Years 10 to 12 is on the roadmap as a separate, separately governed conversation. Wellbeing, safety and complaint pathways are written with each school and reviewed by them before launch.
